Jacksons smile

little Jackson is such a good baby. He only cries when he's hungry or has an upset tummy. We couldn't ask for a better kid. Whenever he is half asleep/awake he is so smiley. Today I got this on my phone. We can't help but to smile when we see him this way. His spirit is so strong in our home and we feel so blessed beyond words that the lord has given us the opportunity to have him. He is growing more and more-its really hard to believe that tonight makes his 10 days old.
Today Jacks had his second blood test done. I felt so bad for him as he laid there crying as the nurse took 5 different samples of blood. He was pretty upset for the next couple hours-he just wanted to be held and cuddled close. He finally fell asleep and so i took my chance to nap with him as well.

Everything seems to be going alright. The healing process has been slow...but were making the best of it.(what we can). We love this boy- I am so grateful for Brent and all he is doing for me. He is being such a great support and help to me. Thanks everyone for your generosity and help to those that have--

Baby jacks is so cute when he cries. It sad-but you can't say this isn't cute!- thanks mom for the outfit!
Brent got Jackson in the middle of one of his smiles...it makes us giggle every time we see him do this! He is such a sweetheart.

He loves his daddy so much--they are best friends already

Jacksons adventures

Jackson has had quite the week so far! He grows more and more each day. He eats well, definitely sleeps well, and becomes a little more aware every day.
Things are going good..so far adjusting to his night schedule has been a little ruff but other than that everything is great! We love this little guy so much and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!

Uncle Justin flew Dad into Idaho Falls airport yesterday! I was able to go through security to take Jackson to meet Justin before he got right back on the same flight that headed back to Boise. Everyone thought i was crazy..when they asked how old he was!

Jesse and Teagen came over and we had pizza!

Nicole, Aaron, and her sister came to visit little Jackson!

Jackson loves his Daddy. He loves being held!!

Today he had his actual first bath! He actually didn't do to bad until I started rubbing in the soap and washing him off

He's always looking at his daddy. He definitely knows who he is

My mom helped me back some cloth diapers into cute burp cloths. I saw my sister in law had something like this so we got some material and made some!

Jackson is so peacefull. He fell asleep on grandpa today. I love how he just curled up to grandpa!

Ready for Bed..of coarse he's awake!!

The healing process is taking a while for me- its slow but i feel a little better each day. After such a long and hard labor i guess its to be expected. This little guy of coarse is worth all the pain in this world.

Jacksons No good, very bad day

Jackson had a very ruff day today. It started out going pretty good..but once 12:00 hit the world came down!
He was so peaceful in the morning-

Sleeping almost all morning- he loves to sleep in the play pins changing table. he snuggles right up to the side of it, especially if he has his pacey.

He also had his first hair washing home! He did really good until the end when we were wrapping him up

Jackson was circumcised today- Daddy was brave and went in with him. I sat outside-hearing it through the door was enough for me to hear. We had yet to hear his full scream, he had a hard time calming down after and throughout the day we could tell he would relive the moment.

He was still a big strong boy. He loves to sleep on his right side..its an interesting thing we've came to find! :)

Daddy and Jacks love their naps. Poor daddy working so hard. He wakes up at 3:30 am to go to work than school till noon-than its back to taking care of mommy and baby. We sure are proud of him though!

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful comments. We sure do love this little guy and the spirit he brings into our home. My blogs have been pretty kept up but i expect some delay in them. As I feel myself getting somewhat better I'm realizing there are more things to do and more time to sleep! Thanks everyone for your support. We love y'all!

Bringing Home Jackson

First we want to say thanks to everyone for their thoughtfulness. All of your gifts brightened up our room and days!!

This is our last night at the hospital. Uncle Jesse brought Teagen to meet Jackson. Jackson got to meet one of his cousins for the first time!! Thanks Jess Jori and Teagen for visiting!!

Jackson after we got dressed to go..he is the most precious thing I've ever seen!!

Mommy sure does love him
Right before we left--and now there are 3..

Grandma Jeannie has been such a big help..we love her and appreciate all she is doing for us!
Our little guy all strapped up and ready to go home

I know this is blury..and you can't really tell--but This nurse was the best nurse ever! I only wish she could have been there the whole time--luckily she was there to wheel me out!

Sleepin with Mommy when we got home from our big day

Thanks to Jacksons cousin E-tom we are able to have some cute little cloths to borrow. Jackson tried on the first set of PJ.s yesterday---he looked like such a stud!

And he was introduced to his swing...he enjoyed it a lot!

We are so glad to be home--its amazing the feeling you get walking through the doors of your own home-it seemed like jackson knew where we were too. We love this little guy and has already brought such a sweet spirit to our home.
