Our New Home

We started looking to buy a Home in April.  We placed an offer on 3 Hud Homes and 1 short sell. Not to mention the homes that we walked through. After not being able to get any of the above and going through a short sell (or replace the "s" on sell and think of a better letter there, h) We decided we would build a home, so that we could grantee ourselves a place to live. 

We decided on a CBH home- to say the process of building a home is "fun" would be a little off. We did have fun, but we also had not so much fun. It was frustrating and discouraging sometimes to go and see the house had made no progress for weeks. In fact we had an empty lot for a month before they even dug a hole! We decided we would stay below a price range on this house for our budget, Of Coarse we loved so many other floor plans but we knew our limits and we wanted to be smart about it. So we made what upgrades we could and made this house a home. We love it, we love our new home, we love our neighborhood, we love the culdasac, and we love our neighbors.

We moved in October 31st. This is a final picture, without the side fence on. Since than we have went on to sod the back, and finished fencing all around, also painted the front door black.

 We are so grateful for my parents letting them stay with them for so long. Were grateful for the relationship that our children were able to have with them in that time. and we are so grateful for Brent's job, that we can live in this home.
