What Started out as 6 hens- dwindled down to 5. ( the female Bantam, was snapped off the fence by rocky)
What was 5 dwindled down to 4 (The Rooster Bantam, had to GO!...To loud while expressing himself)
What was 4 dwindled down to 3 (One of the Barred Rock was chased down by Rocky, I had forgotten to tie him up one morning when I let the Chickens out)
But what was 3 soon became 5!! We picked up to egg laying Rhode Island Reds!
It was fun getting eggs, but more fun having our Golden Sex links start laying their tiny little eggs!
Unfrotnatly what was 5- now is back down to 3. Thanks to the neighbors Husky who happened to Jump our fence and get a hold of one Golden sex link and the last Barred rock! (only one of our babies is left!) Sad lives for our 5 Chickens that have moved on!
