On Friday- I decided to take Charlie to the Dr. he had a cold for over a month and we wanted to make sure everything was ok. His breathing seemed to be getting a little worse and he was having a small fever so we took him in. They tested him for RSV and the results came back negative. They said they were going to do a blood draw and a x-ray to see if he had pneumonia.
He was pretty happy with his sucker. Overall seeming like a happy kid!
The blood draw was first! So frighting and horrible holding your kid still for this.
Than was the x-ray. They came back and told us that he had pneumonia really bad in the left lobe and that his blood count was ok so he didn't need admitted to the hospital. We were sent home with some antibiotics and told to watch his breathing.
The Next day (Saturday) Was Horrible! Charlie was having a really tuff time and was miserable. Did I mention I think we all got a little stomach flu at the same time on top of it so we were also dealing with all of us (but Brent) throwing up. Sunday morning we took him into the ER.
They did another x-ray. (different way this time) and breathing treatment. The x-ray showed that it was improving but the little guys o2 sats were not very high. They monitored him for about 2 hours than we were released, his sats being at 91. We were happy he was ok but still worried for him. Dr. had said he would hate to admit him and put him through more pain/ uncomfort.

Getting a breathing treatment
By Thursday the following week Charlie was overall back to normal. His cough hung around for a bit but he is the normal happy kid we know. Were so grateful he is ok. We love these boys too much, it breaks our hearts when we can't do anything for them when they are so sick.
