Memorial Day 2014

For Memorial day we went and visited our baby Matthew. It always amazes me the feeling I have when the boys are near "him" I know he would have made a great brother- but he makes for a pretty special angel brother instead. So grateful for the days we can go and reflect on him and the major role he has played in each of our lives. Can't wait to see him on the other side.

Fathers and Sons 2014

This is Jacksons 4th year going to Fathers and Sons with Brent. They decided that Charlie was old enough this year to tag along. I think they really loved it. I'm so grateful for an amazing guy that will spend priceless time with his boys. Here are a few pictures of there trip!

 

TMNT Birthday party!

For Jacksons 5th birthday party he wanted a Ninja Turtle party!

We had the party on Friday (his birthday was Sunday) I must say he has some pretty fantastic friends! Everyone but 1 came that he invited! We had Pizza (a turtles favorite food) Turtle cupcakes, "Sewer dirt" "Sewer water" "Turtle shells" "Sewer dirt" "Sewer lids" "Turtle spears" and "toxic ooze". The kids all played with different water toys and played a little pin the mask on the turtle. Thank you to all his awesome friends who came to play!

Saturday we went to Texas Roadhouse- one of Jacksons favorite- were he got a big Happy Birthday wish and ice cream! We had left over coins from chucky chesse so we went and had some fun there.

Still can't believe we have a 5 year old- and more so that our baby is starting school. Reality is sure setting in now that he is 5. There's no turning back! Happy Birthday Jackson James!

Birth Mark

The other day while i was burping Hallie I noticed this little birth mark. She is our first baby with a birth mark. Brent was born with a birth mark on his forehead so we have looked for one with each kid. (not that they are hereditary?) Brent had his removed when he was a teenager. I guess it wasn't his favorite thing. Anyways, I love this characteristic about her! We'll see if it gets darker, fades, or simply stays the same!

Hallie 2 Months

Once again time as flown by! Our baby girl is 2 months old!

She checked in at 9lbs 2 oz (5th%) and 21in long (3rd %)

Hallie loves to be talked to and smiles a lot! She holds her head up really well and continues to dislike baths! She brings so much love to our little home. The boys adore her and we are so grateful to have this beautiful baby in our family!

Preschool Graduation

Jackson graduated from preschool. We were so proud of him. Mrs Michelle had all of the kids have their own special parts and said something special about each of them. Jackson was really nervous to go out in front of everyone. I was worried he wouldn't participate. He walked in with his hands covering his face but warmed out and was full of smiles. So excited for him to be in kindergarten. What an adventure it will be!
