11 months old

Jackson James is 11 months old!! I can't believe how fast time has gone!
Jacks is growing growing growing every day-he's never slowin down.

I gave Jackson another hair-cut. Needless to say, it didn't turn out as planned! I cut it way too short! Oh well, at least it grows back!

We love this boy so much! It has been the best, most challenging 11 months of our lives- He brings so much joy and love to our home. What a blessing he is!!

Sorry this video is sideways but you'll be able to hear him say "duck" in it. This duck just randomly showed up on our back porch.

Ducks and BBQ

This last weekend there has been some great weather- Saturday we went and fed the ducks

Jackson was sooo fussy the other day. All he wanted to do was be outside, especially when his daddy had to leave to go some where...so I gave him a cookie to calm him down and stay inside! I usually dont do this..needless to say he went to town and LOVED it of coarse!
Sunday for dinner we headed to Idaho Falls to have a BBQ with Jesse and co. It was such great weather and we had such a good time. Jesse made some Great steaks! We played outside for a bit than headed in and played a little "Jenga"

Teagen drove Jackson around in his lightning McQueen car
He drove very carefully and held on to Jackson so that he would not get hurt.

Best pals

Jesse has a ball hanging in his garage for them to know how far to pull their car in- Jackson kept pointing to it and saying Ball Ball...even when we left we were getting in the car and he pointed to it "ball ball"

Teagen and Jackson playing on the swings!

Jesse got out his four-wheeler and we took Jackson for a little ride. He really loved it!

First Four-wheeler ride!

Thanks Jesse and Jori for a great evening. We have to do it more often..
Well Brent is back in school tomorrow taking on a new semester! We enjoyed the week break of having him home with us!

Brents Fishing adventure

This week the weather has been really nice in Rexburg, Despite waking up to a few inches of snow Monday morning- Last night we went to Sportsman's warehouse for Brent to get some new fishing Lures. Needless to say he found some great buys

Brent and Jacks checking out the Elk in front of Sportsman's. Jackson wasn't too sure about it..

Tonight Brent called me and said he didn't have any luck and he'd probably be headed home soon- about 45 min later I called to see where he was- He said he'd caught a BIG ONE! As you can see below--

A few weeks ago Brent and his brothers (Jeffrey and Bryan) went fishing and they almost had a big one to bring home. Unfortunately it got off the line- Brent went back to the same place and they brought it home!

Sunny in Rexburg

Saturday the weather was surprisingly nice in good ol' Rexburg. We took a walk to the park and hung out for a little bit. This is Jackson's first time really being able to enjoy good weather.

This last week we have thought Jackson was teething.- Runny nose, low grade fever, and very very fussy. Well this last couple days its developed into something more. It seems he has a little larengites and he is just so very out of it. He'll be going to the doc tommorrow to check all is well.

Park City, Utah

For General Conference weekend the whole Carver gang was meeting up in Park City, UT.
This happened the morning we were leaving..Yes this is April 2nd. We were excited to get out of here...Little did we know though that the next few mornings we would be waking up to inches of snow in Park City.
We have noticed that if we leave around noon for trips it is Jackson's nap time. This is great- meaning we don't have to worry about him for at least an hour of the drive.

Brent's family got a 3 bedroom condo for everyone to stay at. It was a great and beautiful place to spend time with everyone at.

Jackson got some quality time with his cousins. He watched the boys- Ethan and Carver a lot and love all the girls.
Carv and Jacks getting some play time in.

Jackson was all over the kids. Hence below him pulling Carvers ear! Carver didn't mind of course.

Mavery, Jacks and Carver

Jackson going after Carver up the stairs. Needless to say Carver was around the corner and to the top before Jacks even had a chance of reaching him.

Easter Morning:
The Easter bunny left Jackson a Ball and some candy gumies.
Jackson was so excited to see the ball!!(even now as I'm posting this picture Jackson is say "ba ba ba ba ba" = Ball)

Easter gummie

Showing me his candy

He loved it-of coarse enjoyed it with assistance from his father.

Family pics

Jacks started to get a little unhappy

Jackson and his Ladies. Ava and Elsie are one month older than Jacks-

Carrie gave him a cookie and that made his calm. A & E are such chill girls.

I love how Ava has her hand on Jacks and Elsie her arm around him.

Holding hands

Part of the snow-

When we woke up in the morning there was tons of snow. Luckily by mid-day the snow was melted from the roads

I love this pic of them laughing

Kaydre's hair was done in curlers. Her hair was super curly this morning and look so cute.

Jackson was happy to be home. He started crawling every where and exploring his toys. I caught him staring out the window behind the blinds.

And here it is this morning with a few inches of snow--April 6.

Here's Jackson taking a bath in Utah. It amazes me how much this kids loves baths. He gets so happy.

Thanks Carvers for a fun get-away and for conference tickets. We loved seeing you all!!
