Jackson's 1st Haircut!!

Jackson's hair was getting soo Long. I have already trimmed it 2 times so I thought it would be good to actually cut it! It was going over his ears and was becoming hard to style..

His famous "ooo" moment

So I was actually just going to use scissors. As I started this process I decided it was going to be un-even because he kept moving and it was making me nervous! Soo I whipped out my buzzers!

Jackson was very calm. He just sat there and watched his hair fall down! I was so surprised because he didn't mind it at all!!

He was very patient. Look at all that hair in the sink!! OH my little boy is getting so big!!!

Here is the final result!! What a stud!! He looks so grown up now! I think he looks more like Brent too. He's definitely his daddy's boy!

We couldn't ask for a Better...and cuter son!!
We love you Jackson James!!

A little UPDATE

Its been awhile since my last post so here's a little update:

Brent's youngest brother Jeffery is in Rexburg this semester before he goes on his mission. He is a really great basketball player and made the varsity team at the college(purple team). So Friday evening we went to his basketball game. It was a really intense game. They tied it up within the last few seconds with a 3-point shot. Unfortunately the other team(red team) won the game by 4 points. 101-105 Last second there was a few fouls. Way to go Jeff on the first game! Were excited for this next weeks game!

Saturday we went to a Matinee showing of "Sherlock Holmes". Brent thinks it was alright but I really liked it. We haven't really gone to a movie for a long time because the last time we went Jackson was very naughty. So we went around his nap time on Saturday and he was Terrific. Slept through everything but the last 20 min.- than he was entranced! After we came out there was this little toy thing with a Frog. We sat Jackson right next to it and he was all over the frog! Everyone walked by smiling at him because he was LOVING it!

Jackson turned 8 months old last Monday!!! Ahh were is time going. Our little man is getting to be sooo BIG! His little personality is shining through more and more each day.
*Jackson now has TWO bottom teeth. (came on Jan 1)
*Not crawling but pushes himself with his feet while laying down. Also is rolling to get places. He's very stubborn when we try to set him up on his hands and knees.
*He LOVES when anyone helps him to walk. He jabbers and laughs while hes walking. He tries to turn himself around when he's reached the end of the hallway. He gets little bursts of excitement and tries to take off running. His little Feet go double time!
*He Loves little kids/babies and gets really excited and smiles at any alive, fake dolls, or pictures!

His favorite Monkey "Kevin" Hes saying "ooooo" in this picture.

He's such a great baby and is always so Happy. He's very social with everyone. We are so blessed to be a part of this little guys life!

Here he is tonight after his bath! He was playing with a plastic spoon during his bath and after Brent went to take it away and this was his reaction. After he gets the spoon back you'll hear him say "OH" Haha funny kid!

I'll be "home" for Christmas..

Jackson's first Christmas..

The first night we arrived all of the grand kids where there. Jackson LOVES little kids. He just touches their faces and says "ooooohh" its so funny. When he was by Sarah he went Crazy!! He loves her!
Sarah and Timmy were so excited they kept asking if they could take a bath with Jackson. They each had washcloths and put "capes" on their backs.

We celebrated Josh's 19th Birthday--the 20th.

Justin and Jamie's new little puppy (English Bull dog) Stella

Brent and Jacks playing Xbox. Notice the doll house in the background. I used to play with it when I was younger. My mom fixed it up and gave it to Sarah this year for Christmas.

Every year my moms side of the family gets together to play out the Nativity and Santa comes and brings gifts to all the grand kids. (we used to all get a gift too) This year Brent and JD were two wise men and Alex a Shepard. JD thought he was pretty cool stuffing a pillow in his outfit.

Emma played Donkey and Sarah was Mary

Attacking Grandpa. Great Grandpa Carl in the Background.

Jackson checking out Santa.

Best shot we got with Santa.

He LOVES the ball that Santa gave him.

Hanging out with Maddi

Christmas morning. Jacks loved all his presents

Jackson liked what Santa got for Daddy

Netta reading a book to Jacks

My dad was pretty excited to show us this street. He drives by it each day to go to work!

Emma and I both got boots for Christmas!! Plus Netta Emma, and I also got matching shirts (per my mother)

Sarah and I on a car ride. My dad started to play corners after this pick so we got some funny pics of us trying to take some. He would swerve around the corner so we would run into each other

Monday's are cheap bowling days at the SUB so we had some fun with Netta.

Not a time goes by that Jackson doesn't get some one on one with Grandpa. They sure do love each other.

We had such a great Christmas. It truly is a blessing to have each of our family members in our lives. We had some very spiritual experiences while there as we reflected on Christ and forgetting ourselves and serving others. We were so happy to share this season with Jackson. He is such a huge blessing to our lives and brightens our days.
This year- Thanksgiving in Texas, Christmas in Boise- Definitely was one of the bests yet! Here's to a new year, school semester and year of being a family!
