2 months old

Our little Jacks is 2 months old today!!! He is getting so big! He is full of smiles and brings so much joy to our lives!

Jackson Loves sucking on his fists when he can find them.

He loves his swing

He LOVES his baths

Loves Attention-cuddling, being talked to, and held

Hes even is starting to enjoy his diaper being changed
He now is starting to sleep through the night. For sure we can count on 12:30 to 5:30 Am

He follows us with his eyes

Knows who his mom and dad are

Overall I really do believe he is enjoying his life here on earth.

His colic seems to be getting a lot better. He seems to be content. We feel so lucky and blessed to have him. We love our Jackson.

Jackson's Smile

At any given time we have been able to walk up to Jackson start talking to him and he will smile. He also tries to talk back. It is the cutest thing. We've been trying to get some good videos but he always seems so fascinated with the camera. Here is one of him today. We sure do love this little boy <3 <3

Family

Family: Memories, Fun times, Love, and most of all Support.
Ive been thinking a lot about life and why we are here. I think about all the things were given and why things are how they are. I know that everyone has their own set of trials and successes in life that they go through. How lonely life would be without a family. All our lives we have our parents and brothers and sisters right there. Teaching us the way and helping us along the way. Before I was married, I found no greater joy than spending my time with my family and in-laws that came into my brothers and sisters lives..than the joy of having nieces and nephews to spend time with and set an example for.
Than I had the opportunity to find my companion and gain another type of family. The Carvers, what an awesome family and blessing it is to be apart of their lives. New experiences and learning to love more in your heart. I could not ask for any other family to be married in-to

Than life proceeds--and you gain your own family. Where you are the leader, the parent, the shoulder to lean on. Having my own family has opened my eyes to bigger things. Being in Rexburg away from both of families can be hard at times. Its when you learn to rely on each other

My heart if full of love for my families. Without each of them..life would honestly be quite dull and lonely. I just want to say thanks to each of you and the roll you play in my life. We miss you all so much and can't wait to be seeing most of you for Jackson's blessing.

I am learning that being a mom is hard at times...Thank you mom for all you did for our family...

(sorry some people are missing from the family pictures, I could only find these on the computer)

New things

This last weekend Brent's Mom Sister Nikki and her girl Shelby came and visited us! This was Jackson's first time meeting his Nana. It was so nice to visit and be able to spend some time. In Brent's words "it was very refreshing". We wish we only could live closer so we could feel that way more often :) I didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped but here are a few highlights!

Shelby and Jacks had some fun tub time! Shelby was so good and didn't splash on Jackson. Jackson of coarse just laid there relaxing

Nikki and her Girl

ON top of that. On Saturday morning Jackson had his first real smile! He looked at me as I was talking and started smiling. he kinda moved his head and stopped than looked and smiled again. He than tried to talk to me as well by making some gurgling noises and co's. It was the sweetest thing. Since than he has been smiling more when we talk to him. He has also found his fist! This is the only time he has sucked on his thumb so far..but he gnaws on his hand quite a bit when he's hungry

Last night Jacks was sooo fussy. So after his bath and an endless amount of rocking..he fell asleep watching TV with us.

Well there are a few updates! We have been so busy latley. Brent only has a few more weeks left of school and Jacks and I go to work Mon-Fridays. I was working the normal 8-5pm but as of today we are going to try out 10-4pm for a while..It can be very trying sometimes but we know the lord is blessing us and leading a way.
